Two types of religions exist. The first is a “do-it-yourself” approach. The second approach is on Jesus. Abraham tried to mix the two. From his experience we learn two lessons:

The two approaches can’t co-exist (8-14)
You often have to come to the end of your rope to learn to lean on Jesus (15-21)
