Where are you located?

We are in the village of Quinton in Quinton Township, on Main Street (Route 49) in southern Salem County.
We are the second building east of the fire house on the north side of the street.

What’s the best way to get there?

  • From Bridgeton and points East
Follow Route 49 West towards Salem/Pennsville/Delaware-Memorial Bridge. We are on the right just after the bend when you pass Bradway’s Farmer’s Market and the Quinton Township School. If you reach the fire house or Smick’s Lumber at the red light, you’ve gone too far.
  • From Salem, Pennsville and points West
Follow Route 49 East towards Bridgeton/Millville/Cape May. We are on the left just past the Quinton Fire Hall. If you reach the Quinton Township School or Bradway’s Farmer’s Market, you’ve gone too far.
  • From Alloway
Follow Quinton-Alloway Road (County Road 581) south to Quinton. Turn left at the red light (Main Street/Route 49). We are the second building on the left past the fire hall.
  • From Woodstown and points North
Follow Route 45 south to Salem. Turn left on to Broadway (Route 49) in Salem City where the road comes to a “T” at a red light. Continue East on Route 49 into the village of Quinton. We are the second building on the left past the fire hall.

What should our family expect when we arrive>

  • Where do I park?
We have no reserved spaces for anyone, other than those clearly marked for handicap, so park anywhere you like. In addition to the paved parking lot near the building, we have parking available in a gravel lot at the rear of the paved lot.
  • How early should I arrive?
On Sunday morning, you can find people in the sanctuary praying and fellowshipping up to an hour before the service. Most people generally arrive about 10 minutes prior to the start of the service. We begin our services right on time.
  • What about my kids?
We have nurseries and children’s churches available during the services for birth through 3rd grade. Children in 1st through 3rd grade worship in the main sanctuary during the first part of the service. The time will be indicated in the bulletin and from the pulpit when they are dismissed to Junior Church (generally, this happens during the song just prior to the sermon).

Of course, you may certainly choose to keep your children with you during the service, if you prefer.

A normal Sunday

  • What can we expect at a typical service?
Our services last for about an hour, with our Sunday morning services lasting slightly longer than the Sunday evening or Prayer Meeting services.
  • What are the sermons like?
Our pastor, Rev. Richard Brennan, most often preaches expository sermons that work through a book of the Bible. Recent books include Revelation, Philippians, the beginning of Genesis, and Ephesians. See the sermons page to listen to sermons online or download them to your computer.
  • What style is your worship?
Our worship is inclusive of all aspects of the service – including songs, Scripture reading, responses such as the offering, prayers, and the message or sermon.

Musically, we would probably fall under the “traditional” camp as far as labels go. We frequently sing out of the hymnal, but we are intentional about striving to include the best worship material from all time periods. In addition to the piano and organ, we have a small orchestra that contributes to the worship. The handbells, adult choir, soloists, other special groups also lead in worship on a regular basis.

  • Do you have the Lord’s Supper (Communion)?
The first Sunday morning of each month is a time we set aside to celebrate and remember the Lord’s Supper. If you have accepted Christ as your personal Savior, you are invited to partake of the remembrance with us.

And what about after the service?

After the Sunday Morning service, we have Sunday School classes for all ages.
